Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 products have been especially written for schools to answer the requirements of the National Curriculum for Physical Education. The Transition manual is designed to ease pupils in year 7 through the "Settling-in" and "Standardisation" period of going into a new school. The lesson plans are very detailed and written as phases, so teachers take as much time as necessary to develop them. The units of work follow the Link Unit guidelines of the QCA and National Curriculum requirements. CDs of music accompany the manual.
The gymnastics manual is the reccommended text in many univerities and contains detailed lesson plans written in phases of development. These volumes are very comprehensive and each unit (11 in all) identifies learning objectives and learning structures which can be chosen to accompany the phase or level of the theme. All are in line with QCA guidelines and fullfill National Curriculum requirements. There is a comprehensive teaching guide and a detailed skill development section.
Lesson plans again form the majority of the Mini Basketball manual which contains a full unit of work for years 7, 8 and 9 of Key Stage 3.
Other Key Stage 3 & 4 publications include:-
Physical Education Administration Policy and Standards (P.E.A.P.S.), Junior Sports Leaders Toolkit (plus detailed lesson plans) and Performance Principles (an assessment and self-assessment tool).
