Action Kids physical development with fun activities are engaging and enjoyable experiences which are part of the development opportunities necessary for a well-balanced child."
This manual provides a unique collection of physical development-with-fun activities for children up to the age of 36 month. All aspects of the themes and commitments of The Early Years Foundation Stage.
Principles are addressed through the activities...
Very young infants (babies and toddlers) need to feel special, loved and cared for -this underpins everything we do, and is vital for their healthy development. If children feel tired hungry or uncomfortable, they will not feel energised, interested or ready to explore their world. Moving and learning in enabling environments and being in situations which encourage them to make choices, enables them to make decisions and become independent. By engaging in stimulating activities they develop gross and fine motor movements, co-ordination, eye tracking, recognising and locating sounds, satisfy their curiosity and enable them to solve problems.
Because child obesity is an important issue, the activities in the manual are all geared to physical development with fun, becoming familiar with healthy foods and encouraging children to make choices.
This is a colour, easy to use, full manual and accompanied by a CD with specially composed music.
